DESCRIPTION:A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) is a club established by women shooters for women shooters. Our training program is hosted at hundreds of ranges nationwide and we have virtual and destination events\, too! Whether you are a defender\, competitor\, or just want a casual\, fun night out at the range with the girls\, A Girl & A Gun is for YOU! \n\nAG & AG events are fun\, social gatherings where you get firearms training and encouragement\, ask questions in a safe and nonjudgmental environment\, improve your marksmanship\, and make new friends.\n\nAll AG & AG events are supervised by Certified Firearms Instructors. All facilitators are women who can “speak girl” and provide techniques and tips for female shooters.\nOur goal is to empower\, educate\, and have fun at the range. SUMMARY:May 31st / Hunters Education Course / BTO Range\, TX
DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for novice or young hunters\, ages 9 years and above. The course covers the core competencies of firearm and hunting safety\, hunting ethics and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided. The Hunter Education Classroom Course lasts a maximum of 6 hours of classroom instruction. This time does not include registration\, breaks\, test administration and certification card distribution. Courses are offered across the state year round and are taught by certified volunteer instructors.\n\nThe fee for the course is $25\, which includes $15 TPWD fee plus $10 Range Fee. \n\nPre-registration is required on the TPWD website.\n\nYOU MUST REGISTER WITH TPWD & REGISTER WITH BTO RANGE. \nYou may also contact your local Texas Parks and Wildlife Department office or call TPWD Austin headquarters at 1-800-792-1112\, ext. 4999.\nWhat you need to do:\n\nRegister on the TPWD web site below.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister For May 31st Class\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister and pay for the course with BTO Range\nAttend the entire course.\nTake the written exam and get at least 75% correct to pass.\n\n\nUpon successful completion\, you may receive a temporary card from the instructor. You may legally hunt with a valid Texas hunting license and your temporary certification card.
