Getting Started with the AR15 – Cost $50.00
This classroom-only introductory module is designed to familiarize new shooters with the AR15 platform.  Topics covered include:
*  History and general information about the AR15
*  Loading, unloading and clearing the rifle
*  Basic maintenance and cleaning
*  Accessories and support gear
*  Shooting basics including stance and zeroing procedures
*  The AR15 for home defense

This is classroom only.  No ammunition will be allowed in the classroom.  Students will bring their AR15 rifle and one empty magazine.  Suggested additional equipment includes an optic or iron sights, a sling, a case and cleaning equipment.

Day Two  4hrs

AR15 Shooting Fundamentals – Cost $150.00
This is a live-fire class on the shooting range designed primarily for entry-level shooters with the AR15 rifle.  Topics covered include:

• Basic shooting stance and recoil control
• Proper use of the sling
• Target acquisition, sight alignment and zeroing
•  Combining accuracy and speed
•  Urgent reloads
•  Vertical and horizontal transitions

This is live fire on the shooting range.  Students should dress appropriately with closed-toe shoes and no low or loose blouses or shirts.  Students will bring their AR15 rifle, multiple magazines (preferably three), minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition, a sling (preferable two-point), and an optic or iron sights attached to the rifle and zeroed.  Suggested additional equipment includes magazine carriers, magazine loaders and a case.
