If you do not feel confident in your ability to properly shoot a handgun\, consider attending one of our Basic Handgun courses or schedule a Private Lesson before attending the LTC class. \nThe LTC curriculum consists of laws and regulations of carrying a handgun. The required material taught in class is on a very basic level and easy to understand. You will also be required to demonstrate your shooting ability through a qualification course of fire. The required shooting portion of the class is held on-site and is also on a very basic level which focuses mostly on safe gun handling. Newer shooters often pass with ease. The course covers the core competencies of firearm and hunting safety\, hunting ethics and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided. The Hunter Education Classroom Course lasts a maximum of 6 hours of classroom instruction. This time does not include registration\, breaks\, test administration and certification card distribution. Our training program is hosted at hundreds of ranges nationwide and we have virtual and destination events\, too! Whether you are a defender\, competitor\, or just want a casual\, fun night out at the range with the girls\, A Girl & A Gun is for YOU! \n\nAG & AG events are fun\, social gatherings where you get firearms training and encouragement\, ask questions in a safe and nonjudgmental environment\, improve your marksmanship\, and make new friends.\n\nAll AG & AG events are supervised by Certified Firearms Instructors.
