Course Overview
Essential Handgun Skills: Manipulation and Accuracy is designed for shooters who have completed a basic pistol course and are ready to build stronger control and understanding of their handgun. This course focuses on the practical manipulation skills and operational knowledge that many advanced courses expect students to already possess.
Rather than jumping directly into advanced defensive handgun training or competition courses, this class helps bridge the gap by reinforcing the core skills that make those next steps more productive. Students will work through handgun operation, malfunction management, efficient handling, and improved marksmanship fundamentals.
This course is taught through a combination of structured dry fire instruction and live fire application. Techniques are introduced through guided practice and then validated on the range, allowing students to immediately apply what they learn.
For those looking for firearms training in Texas that strengthens the foundation of safe and efficient handgun use, this course offers a practical path forward before moving into more specialized training.
