The Training Center part of our name is serious business. Our full-time staff includes credentialed instructors in rifle and pistol and even medical disciplines. We host multiple nationally recognized outside instructors throughout the year. We host Texas License to Carry and Texas Hunter’s Education classes frequently. felicia / Dedicated Firearms Instructor
Felicia’s journey as a firearms instructor began with her certification as an NRA Pistol Instructor. Since then, she has embraced the role of a lifelong learner, continually expanding her knowledge through various training and educational opportunities.
With a patient and approachable teaching style, Felicia has guided thousands of students, both in group settings and through one-on-one instruction. Her focus is on creating a supportive learning environment for men, women, and children alike.
Felicia’s list of certifications reflects her commitment to comprehensive firearms education. She is a Deliberate Coaching Instructor certified by The Complete Combatant, and a Training Counselor and Instructor with the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), covering credentials such as Concealed Carry and Home Defense Instructor and Training Counselor, Women’s Handgun and Self Defense Fundamentals Instructor, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Instructor, AR-15 Fundamentals Instructor, Children’s Firearms and Safety Fundamentals Instructor and Rage Safety Officer.
In addition to the previous certifications, Felicia also holds certifications from respected organizations like Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services for Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events, Texas Parks and Wildlife as a Hunter Education Instructor, and the National Rifle Association for various disciplines, including Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home, Range Safety Officer, and Refuse to Be a Victim Instructor.
As a Texas Department of Public Safety License to Carry a Handgun Instructor and School Safety Certification Instructor, Felicia has played a role in licensing hundreds of individuals so that they may better protect themselves and their families.
Felicia’s passion for empowering others extends to her involvement with the A Girl and A Gun Shooting Club, where she serves as a Facilitator and Certified Trainer, sharing her knowledge and fostering a supportive community for like-minded women of all ages..

Tara / Dedicated Firearms Instructor & Industry Professional
Tara has been immersed in the firearms industry since 2016, steadily building her expertise. Currently, she serves as the Marketing Director and Training Coordinator at BTO Range and Training Center, where her passion for firearms education truly shines.
As a member of the Watchtower Firearms Shooting Team, Tara has the opportunity to further hone her skills with support from respected sponsors like BTO Range, Sim-X Ammo, ZeroTech Optics, and SR Training group. Her commitment to continuous growth is also reflected in her membership with the Conroe A Girl and a Gun chapter.
What Tara brings to the table is a genuine enthusiasm for instructing and sharing her knowledge with others. With certifications in Pistol, Rifle, Range Safety, and Personal Protection in the Home instruction, she has the credentials to provide comprehensive firearms training.
