USCCA GETTING STARTED WITH THE AR15
This classroom-only introductory module is designed to familiarize new shooters with
the AR15 platform. Topics covered include:
* History and general information about the AR15
* Loading, unloading and clearing the rifle
* Basic maintenance and cleaning
* Accessories and support gear
* Shooting basics (stance and zeroing procedures)
* The AR15 for home defense
This is classroom only. No ammunition will be allowed in
the classroom. Students will bring their
AR15 rifle and one empty magazine.
Suggested additional equipment includes an optic or iron sights, a
sling, a case and cleaning equipment.
Duration: 2 Hour
Cost: $50.00 Per Student
Required Gear: AR15 Rifle, one empty magazine and note taking material.
